What we handle
A furnace gets ignored for eleven months and then becomes the most important object in the house. The work below is mostly about keeping it in the first category.

Worth having honestly, because the wrong answer is expensive in both directions.
Usually worth repairing
A unit that is otherwise running well with one failed component, and enough years left in it to earn the part back.
Usually worth replacing
Repeat failures on an old unit, a cracked heat exchanger, or a repair bill closing in on a meaningful share of a new one.
Your own rule of thumb goes here — the age or the ratio at which you tell people to stop spending on a repair. Customers remember the contractor who talked them out of something.
Service and call-out pricing
An annual service price and a call-out rate belong here. This is the single most common thing a visitor is hunting for, and the most common reason they leave a site without ringing.
